Trips back home projects. (Photographer)
This project explores the intricate relationship between culture, memory, and the emotional distances that shape our sense of belonging. It is an
exploration of how memory shapes our perception of home, and how culture roots us even as we navigate multiple identities. For me, home is
not a fixed point but a feeling—a grounding force tied to family, shared history, and a sense of belonging. It is where I do not have to explain my
name, my past, or my future. Through colours, silhouettes, and intimate moments, this photo essay captures the universal experience of those who
live between cultures—children of immigration, migration, and exile.
It is a meditation on how we carry home within us.
